With over 200 operating locations in more than 50 countries, Greif is positioned to serve local, national or multinational customers where they do business. The Corporate Legal Department, being responsible for all legal affairs in the EMEA region is based in the Netherlands and is currently looking for a Legal Counsel (min 4-5 years PQE).

The Position

Your main responsibilities will be:

drafting, commenting and negotiating commercial sales agreements, agency- and distribution agreements;
sourcing for key and major accounts and major suppliers for its direct and/or indirect business process;
assisting in corporate restructuring and financing activities;
dealing with intellectual property matters and IP portfolio management;
assistaning in corporate housekeeping activities;
dealing with various other legal topics, such as financing agreements, competition law, privacy law, IP law, general conditions of sale or purchase, employment law, environmental and administrative law.

The Profile

Minimum of 4-5 years professional experience in commercial law and contracting, preferably in an international industrial environment;
Familiar with general corporate law;
You are an enterprising professional with a pro-active and autonomous "can-do" working attitude and can easily adapt to various operational and managerial levels;
Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written language skills.
