Our Client

Our client is a market leader and a Fortune 500 company. It is in the business of providing supply chain solutions to organisations worldwide. They possess a leading market share in almost all countries. Their international operations are focused on the key areas of world trade in Europe, Asia, North America and South America. For their commercial legal team we are looking for an experienced Legal counsel.

The Position

You will provide high quality, business orientated legal assistance to its business units, management, and other functional departments. You will ensure its interests are protected and comply with (international) laws, regulations and internal policies, in order to minimise liabilities. You will participate in contract negotiations with key customers and draft or review the resulting agreements. When required you will manage and resolve claims with customers. All business units will be supported by negotiating, reviewing and drafting all kinds of commercial contracts.

The Profile

You have 3-6 years of post qualification experience as a lawyer in private practice and/or in-house. You are an excellent negotiator and have a strong business sense. Knowledge of transport law is desirable. You are fluent in english.
