Its stores can now be found in prime locations in more than 400 cities in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa.Inditex is looking for a Corporate Lawyer for its professional team at Zara Holding in Amsterdam.

The Position

The Corporate Lawyer reports directly to the Inditex Legal Director based in La Coruña, Spain and is a member of the Inditex Legal team. Working from the Zara Holding office in Amsterdam his /her main responsibility is to act as the sole legal advisor to the companies integrated in the "ITX" structure dealing with several activities like: (re) insurance, trading, e-commerce, real estate, administration, brands, commercial licensing, know how, development, supply and retail. These companies are mostly based in the Netherlands, Suisse en Ireland.Apart from the legal advising of all the ITX companies, he /she will also be responsible for the Dutch and Scandinavian retail subsidiaries within the Inditex Group, will special focus on corporate law real estate activities.

The Profile
  • University Law degree;
  • Between 7 and 10 years of relevant experience;
  • legal experience in an international company or an international law firm;
  • experience with corporate law, finance law (bank operations), commercial contracts, real estate, tax and contractual law;
  • excellent drafting skills and substantial experience of assessing, negotiating and concluding (commercial) contracts;
  • self-starting, committed to operational excellence and independent work attitude;
  • pro-active, commercial, pragmatic and structured approach, combined with the ability to be flexible and creative;
  • nice personality to be able to work in multidisciplinary (deal) teams;
  • ability to work in a paced, result driven international environment and perform well under changing deadlines;
  • fluent in English and Dutch; Spanish (and knowledge of Spanish culture) very highly valued;
  • willing to travel a lot to for example: Spain, Switzerland, Ireland and Scandinavian countries.
