After her law studies at Utrecht University she became a trainee lawyer at Buruma Maris (now Houthoff Buruma). During her internship she moved to another office within the district of The Hague. After completing her internship and training she has terminated her job to go traveling through South East Asia, Oceania and Russia. After her trip, she started work as a staff lawyer at the court in The Hague. Since 2002 she works as a recruitment consultant within the legal world. The people and their development inspires her more than the legal issues.
Since early 2005 Marije joined Voxius and she is now mainly responsible for fixed positions within both the legal profession and industry. She has also specialized in career coaching
